continuing with my explorations of the day, on my way to the skippack creek, found this cricket ground deep in evansburg state park next to an abandoned farm house that’s apparently an official venue for the bocc (British officers cricket club). judging by car license plates, youngsters from Virginia were playing local youngsters. after watching two clean bowleds one no ball one four and one hit in the helmet with a full toss I hiked down to the creek to meditatively play the flute while watching a tiny song sparrow bathe in the creek.
